What we collect

When you send a form on this website — a message, a quote request, the project form or a newsletter sign-up — we keep what you typed: your name, email address, phone number, the property address if you gave one, and what you told us about your project. If you choose a time for a call, we keep the booking.

We also keep a basic record of each page visit: the page, the site that sent you, your screen size and your IP address, with an approximate city and country worked out from it. No cookie is set for this and nothing identifies you by name.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, arrange and confirm a call, and understand which pages help people find us. If you ticked the box asking for updates, we record the exact wording you agreed to, the time and your IP address, and we only send material related to your project. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

To do this the website relies on a few services: our web host (Hostinger, where the site and its records are stored), our email provider (to send and receive enquiry emails), the Telegram messaging app (for instant alerts to our team, if switched on) and an IP-location service (ip-api.com, which receives only the IP address).

Analytics

If third-party analytics are switched on, they load only after you agree to them in the banner at the bottom of the page. Choosing “No thanks” keeps them off.

How long we keep it, and your choices

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for the project they relate to and our business records. You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@goldenbrick.ca or calling 778-382-7444.

This policy is a plain description of what this website does. It is reviewed when the website changes.
